What's in a name?

I had suggested that we name the little guy "Sachs", after Hans Sachs, the 16th century German Meistersinger and dramatist (relevant encyclopedia.com article). In my humble opinion, "Sachs" is still a great name for a couple of reasons:

• It's a German name, and he's of a German breed.
• Hans Sachs is a pretty cool historical figure.
